Waiting On Two Pink Lines

Well as you probably already know, we are going to be adding to our family this summer! We are very excited, and nervous at the same time. I'll give you the story of how we found out and how we told everyone.
We thought that there was a chance that I could be pregnant. So we where talking about when would be a good time to take the test. I said that the earliest I could probably take the test would be on Christmas day. But if we where going to be in Island Park with my stepdad and mom, I didn't really want to take it then cause if my mom even seen I had a pregnancy test then she would be extremely excited and we would never hear the end of it. We kind of left it at that. On Dec. 23rd I woke up, and I thought I'll just take a test today and if it isn't positive then I'll just come up with some reason not to take it on Christmas day. So I grabbed a test and took it. I was sitting in the bathroom waiting to see what it would say. Slowly but surely the second line started to appear. I wasn't sure if I was just seeing things or if it was really happening. So I decided to go and get Jimmy to see what he seen. Well he was laying on the couch watching tv under a blanket and he would not get up for the life of him cause he was cold. Finally I got him to come into the bathroom with me. This time you could see there was a second line. All Jimmy said was that there was a very faint second line and that we needed to go and get a good test (digital test). Before we went into town I took anyother test, and there was a second line again! We went in town and did some shopping. When we got to the pregnancy test stand, Jimmy got the box with 5 digital test (he wanted to be sure). We went home and I took the digital test and it came back pregnant. I walked into the kitchen where Jimmy was and he like "is it a good test?" I showed him and he had a shocked but happy look on his face. He gave me a big hug. I called my doctor that day to set up a appointment and they told me that I was 4.5 week pregnant and that my due date would be around August 28, 2012.Then he started talking about how and when are we going to start telling people. I called my doctor that day to set up a appointment. As the day went along Jimmy decided he wanted to go to Island Park so he could go snowmobling and he wanted to tell my mom. So we got our friend Mike to come and feed and let the dogs out the next morning. Most of the way to Island Park we talked about how we where going to break the news. We had no idea how or even when we would tell anyone. So by the time we still where no closer to a plan. My little sister Sereniti bought a easel with her christmas money and she wanted to play hang man with us. So after a couple of games it was my turn to pick the workd. Jimmy took me aside and told me to put Aunt Sereniti as my word. Sereniti was down to A_nt Sereniti, and she kept giving me a look like she was unsure. My mom was sitting at the kitchen counter talking to Jimmy she turned around and said "Aunt Sereniti" then she turned back around and kept talking to Jimmy. By this time Jimmy started laughing, then my mom got this look on her face like wait a minute. Then she was like really? Jimmy was like yeah. (Jimmy had played two mean tricks on my mom by pretending we where pregnant then telling her the truth which was no we're not.) So my mom was having a hard time believing it was true. But we conviced her that we really where this time. She of course started planning the baby shower right then and there. We had to leave on Christmas Eve cause we didn't want to have Mike come over and feed our animals when he should be with his family. So on Christmas day we weren't sure what we where going to do for the day. Jimmy made me take 2 more test that morning to be sure. We sent Jimmy's dad a picture message with us and the pregnancy test. We waited for what seemed like a long time before we called Jimmy's brother Josh to see if his dad could get picture messages. So Jimmy ended up telling Josh since he was on the phone with him. Finally we got a message back from Jimmy's dad. We decided to make the "big loop" to go and see Jimmy's family and the rest of my family. So we stopped by Pocatello and surprised Jimmy's mom. I was in the kitchen talking to him uncle when all of a sudden Jimmy's mom was coming at me with tears in her eyes. I was like what is going on. Well I guess Jimmy was trying to be all sneaky about telling them but they figured it out the first try. We didn't stay long because we still had to go to Aberdeen. My dad and step mom where over at my grandparents house. Which worked out nice, cause we where able to tell, my grandparents, Price, Julie and my dad and Nicole all at the same time. then from there we started to tell the rest of the family. My sisters did not believe me at first. They where calling my mom and asking her but we made her promise that she couldn't tell anyone yet. So she was denying it. So I had to tell her it was okay to tell.
I set up my first appointment with Dr. Hall on January 17th. Jimmy wants to be there so it was hard to find a date that would work for him since he is leaving the 19th to go to a school for a couple of days.
Jimmy has been very excited and supportive. I know he will be a good dad, I love how he plays and treats my littlest sister and brother.
He left to go to Salt Lake City after New Years, and he made me up a baunch of food. So that way he would know that I'm not eating TV dinners and bad things like that the whole time he is gone. He is making sure the baby is getting good food. How sweet right?
Thats about all the updates I have for right now. Today I'm 6.5 weeks, and I have been feeling pretty good. Not to tired, no sickness yet, and been able to still work out. So I really hope it stays like this!

(Some baby stuff we started to buy. You can tell what Jimmy wants)

(A cute little PJs for either a baby girl or boy. I couldn't help but buy it.)

I have a feeling that this little one is going to be very loved and very very spoiled.
